    Vienna is a very nice malt to use as a base, slightly more colour and flavour than the very pale malts .

    Witbier - which wheat?

    I will be brewing a Wit in the next couple of weeks using flaked wheat ,this is the third time of brewing one, and this time i am upping the the coriander and bitter orange peel to 40g as the last two brews have been a little underwhelming on these flavours . As for yeast i am using WHC Banana...

    But apparently VWP is perfectly fine to use on SS without fear of damage etc

    If it had got to 37 deg then it would be time to be concerned ,27 deg will be fine

    VWP is a excellent steriliser and of course it also cleans as well ,also it is very well priced ,no point in trying to take short cuts

    At least with pet bottles you can degas your beer over a few evenings until they are stable
