yes, am wondering if its fermenting out or something as the room is very warm as has a couple of vivariums in there, going to start another one tomorrow in a different room as see if that makes any difference at all
can anyone tell me where I am going wrong with these, have tried a couple, and they all just taste of nothing but acid ?? no flavour of the tea bags coming through, just really strong acid type taste :(
can I clarify as have watched the videos a few time, when you say leave another week do you mean as it is or rack it off when it reaches 990 and leave it another week ? ( mine reached that a few days ago and don't want it much dryer but it only took 1 week to reach this stage as the room is warm)
if I remember rightly (should have written it down !)
was
2 x cherry good juice (on offer in sainsburys £1 each)
and 1 x lidl RGJ 95p
800 grm sugar
tannin and citric acid and pectolse . was a bit dry so back sweetened as you suggested but with canderell . more than a bit impressed with...
my red grape and cherry juice wow is done, omg its lush !!! and I don't normally like red wine . more than happy with it I have to say . thanks guys having so much fun with this
my wilko red turned out ok but very watery for a red, nice taste though so have mixed it half and half with a too sweet rose I had done(stopped it at sweet ) the result is a very fruit rose that is lush so more than happy ! however the wow I did (apple MAngo and red grape) my god it nearly blew...
can I ask a silly question please, do you rack this into plastic bottles to carbonate it , same as you would for ginger beer ??? as concerned about glass explosions :)
p.s my spare bedroom is now off limits to all but me ~( husband calls it my witches cave due to all the things bubbling in there ), the snakes vivarium keeps it at the perfect temp for brewing :) he seems to enjoy the wine fumes as well lol
