    Woodfordes Wherry Review

Patience :) I did a wherry with s-04 as well and it was crystal clear after about a month in the bottle :)

    Bulldog raja's reward IPA

Most beers I've found get drinkable after 6 weeks or more

    Bulldog raja's reward IPA

Bit over hopped to be comfortable rather than 'disgusting'...

    Bulldog raja's reward IPA

If found with both the IPA and APA they took a loooooooong time to settle down, but then they were awesome :)

    Bulldog raja's reward IPA

No worries, leave it in the bottle as long as you can, first I thought it was more flower than anything and then all of a sudden wow.... And then it was all gone :(

    Bulldog raja's reward IPA

I've left mine in the bucket well passed it's 'ideal' point as the advice is it helps it clear faster as more stuff drops out of suspension....

    Bulldog raja's reward IPA

Another 10 days? Think mine was in the FV for about 3 weeks and then bottled for about 8-12 weeks before it turned into a beer my friend asked where I got it from as it was that good....

when can I taste my stout?

Haha my kegged stout had 1/2 pint tasters from about 2 weeks in... And it's getting better and better as time goes by. Was planned to be a Christmas brew but don't think it will last :) Now I'm wondering should I fridge it and try it cold as currently the PB sits in the garage and I can pour...

    Mix and Match

Recently barrelled my coopers stout, comes up as 7% abv. Brewed with 500g dark DME and 500g dark soft brown sugar and brewed short to 20l. OG 1056, FG 1006 and sample from trial jar was lovely if a tad green :)

    Sugar v Carbonation drops,

Batch prime is to chuck siphon out of the FV into another bucket (with a tap) in which you've already added enough sugar for all the bottle (40ishx 6-8g for ales). Not saying the drops were a problem just wondering if that's what was causing the hard bubbles :)

Sounds good to me, cheers pms67 :)

    Sugar v Carbonation drops,

Tony, I used 1 and a half drops for big 'hard' bubbles, would rather softer bubbles but the 'fizz' was right for lager
