My first brew was with one of those Home Brew Depot kits, a bare minimum of equipment and no idea what I was doing. :wha: Mine also stopped bubbling after a couple of days and I though it was going to be a disaster. Turned out OK though. Not great but not too bad either. Definitely stick...

Thanks Guys, I liked the look of the Sanbri on mentioned by Vinotinto as it's all metal and should last forever. I found a decent looking one on BIN on ebay and so went for it. Thanks for the offer Jaffa91 but I doubt I'd have anything you would need in exchange. Cheers :thumb:

Can anyone advise me on a decent corker that doesn't cost a fortune? Had one of those cheap red plastic ones which split last time I used it. Any recommendations would be gratefully received. Cheers.

My first AG efforts were cloudy too. Still tasted good and that's what it's all about in my book. Cloudy beer is not bad beer. Tasty beer is good beer.

Likewise. Wanted to do AG and looked at a lot of reviews. Saw nothing but good things about the GF so I went for it. No regrets.
