My lawn mower is more vigorous than those machines :) But my worry is that it wouldn't be clean enough, even after a good scrubbing?

I tried scratting a dozen apples today with my rotary lawn mower and it worked really well, pulped them in seconds and threw it all back into the basket. If I cleaned the mower up is there any reason why I shouldn't use it? Probably on a tarp or board instead of the ground?

How about banging them through the lawn mower? Would a bit of grass be a problem?

It's more like two blades - wouldn't want to have to sharpen one of those plater mixers...
