do you know how much sugar to use in a standard barrell, i got carbonated drops for the bottles can i use them or is sugar better? is it just pure white sugar? Im new!!!!!!!! sorry

Can anyone tell me if there a differance between a Hydrometer and a Sacchrometer? I have one of them.. its colour coded. I toke my first reading last night 6 days into my first brew. it was just on the line between black and yellow (bottle it). Is this ok for the time scale? my brew is a nice...

Thanks guy, I toke my first hydrometer test just to see what was happening last night. It was just on the line between black and yellow. so think ill just wait a couple more days and hope it gets well into the yellow. :cheers:
