    greetings!

    keep it simple to start, go with 500g of brewing sugar and 500g of light malt extract make sure your wort is well airated before putting in the yeast and have the big thing...patience :cheers:

    Is there a set formula for scaling down recipies from say a 19ltr batch to a 12 ltr batch, mainly for BIAB? :cheers:

    Green King IPA 3.2%

    here in sunny Oxford, Greene King IPA is in alot of pubs.....and thats where it generally stays...the dishwater after a sunday roast would taste better :sick:

    Have i just made a mistake & more questions

    coopers stout does have a reputation of going mad (mine did second day), so be ready for some leakage!! the lid just resting on the top is fine as nothing can get in with the gas escaping....also no need to add finings as its a stout so it wont be clear and most stuff will drop out of suspension...
