    Show us your Pushbikes

I’m 32 and more of a breakaway rider than a climber or a sprinter. Predominantly rode track for the past few years in London (with a preference for the endurance events), but back doing some road racing now that I’m nowhere near a track on the west coast of Ireland.

I rode rás Dhun na nGall a few years back and the final stage finish was at the top of Glengesh. Misery.

WiFi Temperature Probe and Controller with MQTT (maybe Inkbird)

It’s a while since I’ve played with sonoff relays or homeassistant (had them running in my old house but shut everything down and boxed them up when we moved, and don’t miss smart home tech), but back then flashing them with tasmota was the best way to integrate them into home assistant. There...

You could probably make something with a sonoff th16 if you’re planning to use home assistant to control it?

Have a go at simple AG

Why not? Isn’t that pretty much what a partial mash brew is?

Here’s another alternative, albeit a largely unpopular one: brew smaller batches ashock1

    Pump or hoist?

Probably, but I personally wouldn’t like to wait til the end of a brew day to find out :)

Fitting in AG brewing around life

I’ve tried a 20 min mash and 20 min boil a few times with great success, a bit like the brulosophy short and shoddy brews. For smaller 5-10 litre batches this enables a 2 hour brew day, but would probably take longer with full sized batches for heating and cooling.

Fitting in AG brewing around life

It all depends on what aspect of home brewing you enjoy, it sounds like for some of the above it’s the brew day itself, but for others it’s the building of a brew system or the actual drinking of the beer with friends and family, so OP, don’t feel pressured into carving out time to enjoy brew...
