hi all got loads of apples from allotment any good sparkling cider recipes or just any tried and tested recipes . made cider last year first time it was ok but a bit flat .
hi got a brew on going to barrel it but by the time its brewed them barrelled we are going away so it will be in barrel for at least 2 month before first pint pulled never left it that long will it be ok in my mind the longer I leave it the better it will be
hi all thinking of getting a 2 gallon barrel most come with a vent cap so is it the sugar on secondary fermentation that gives pressure and is there enough pressure to serve up 2 gallon main reason for small barrel is lack of storage for larger barrel
hi only brew kits so was wondering what different sugar to use when brewing and priming used the sugar that comes with kits would a brown sugar make a difference to colour and taste ? just wondering
opened a bottle last night very nice full of flavour plenty of life too well impressed first time primed bottle by diluting sugar in water then dividing into each bottle
ok so wine now bottled tasted very nice not to sweat didn't taste of pumpkins light golden in colour leave it now until December before cracking one open
