on ag 10 now and not hit my sweetspot maybe 2 brews. working more on my water and fermentation temps and good yeast and maybe then I can compare to the big boys.
should one always boil with lid off? seem to get a better rolling boil with lid slightly ajar and knocking one of the elements off, this is on a 50 liter boil?
I used bentonite last night for 2 5 gallon batches in secondary. read around and was told 4 grams for 200ml of boiling water per 5 gallon. the stuff is like tar and clumps like **** tho. seems to be just sitting at the bottom of the fermenter today. prob won't use again or find out if theirs...

After reading around seems the body is made of Acetal plastics, but their are two different types and cant find out specifically which one is used in the pump. one of which is FDA approved.
