    Surely, this is what the wedding list is for! My resolution would be to brew enough and far enough in advance so I have some beer ready for the big occasions.

    The Xmas food thread

    We had a 12lb turkey (bronze) with trimmings, I dug the spuds and picked the cabbage on Saturday, followed up by a homemade Xmas pudding. We squeezed 10 adults and 1 kid around the table, maybe next year I'll be supplying the beer as well!

    I got a beer paddle and a trial jar, my 3yr old has pinched the paddle and is using it as a bubble swotter and a broomstick, should have got him one of those instead of all those toys!

    That sounds really nice! I've put a layer of marzipan at the bottom of an apple pie, but never used marzipan instead of pastry before.
