I only use my heatbelts for short bursts to bring the temperature back up and they are perfect for this.
If you are looking to use them as a permanent solution then as evanvine said you will need some kind of thermostatic conrol.

I'm posting to the thread because I've just got back from america where I had a gorgeous agave wheat beer (Breckenridge Brewery). The beer had a bit of sweetness and a light, almost citrus, slightly melon-like after-taste. I don't know if the beer had been back sweetened with the agave syrup...
I've had huge amounts of chunky debris before and have siphoned off with no problems. A gentle tilt to the DJ will help you get the most of the booze out. If you mess up and bring some through just rack again after it has settled out.
