    Festival New Zealand pilsner.

This is by far the best beer kit I have done. Personally this beer is right up my street. A pilsner style with a massive hop aroma. I have just put another one of these kits on and am looking forward to this being my Xmas drink of choice.

    Winter brewing advice

I have only brewed kits during the warmer months of the year so the decreased temperature hasn't been a problem for me yet. That said I have a few kits I want to brew but am concerned that the reduced temperature will slow if not stop fermentation. All will be brewed inside the house in the...

On the rocks mixed berry cider?

I made the raspberry and lime cider and have now just bottled the blueberry variant also. It isn't as sweet as the ones you can buy from the supermarket but in my opinion tastes better. It comes out close to 6% and doesn't taste like it at all so one to drink steadily as it catches up...

What stout or porter kit would you recommend

I wanted to ask which kits of either a stout or porter you have had success with. I normally make ipa's and larger but do like a guiness and darker beer occasionally. Thanks in advance Lee

Cheers for the swift response. Might get the paddling pool out of the shed. Currently wrapped up in towels with the Mrs fan on them. She looked at me like I'm mad clearly doesn't share the passion

    Hot day tempeture

With the weather expected to reach 30 degrees today I'm a little concerned my fv tempeture will get a little too warm. Is there a simple way to keep them around 20 degrees. I was thinking of wrapping them in wet cold towels. Any advice would be much appriciated. Kind regards Lee

I am about to put on 3 kits on simaltaniously so that I can get a nice stockpile of beer for the later part of summer or if one ever arrives in the UK. The first kit I will be starting today is the evil dog double IPA. The packaging and kit looks very nice and am intersted to see how this...
