i stocked up over the weekend and put an order in online this morning :thumb: popped into the gloucester store just after 8 this morning and there was about 6 bitter kits left and not much else :shock: :lol:

Doing a cracking job there mate :thumb: The leftover bit was probably just a scrap piece to take up the extra space in the box to stop things moving about too much!

i had the same problem with one i bought recently, i just drilled a small hole through the metal into the plastic top and used a small screw to secure it, works fine now :thumb:

would it be along the lines of this or have i got it totally wrong !!

if i were to keep this stc how would i go about wiring it up, would it just be the same as if it was a 220v one ? the 12v supply i have has 3 wires coming from the 12v side, red = +12v, black = ground and white which is +5v any ideas welcome :thumb: :cheers:

it says on the unit that it is power supply 12v ac cooling/heating 10a/220v ac

hi all, just bought a stc 1000 but its a 12v one, can i just connect this up to a 12v ac adaptor? the adapter i have is input:100-240vac,50/60hz,2a output:12v==1.5a 5v==1.5a thanks for looking :thumb:

I'm the same, I enjoy the cleaning, delabeling and scrubbing :D Its a lot easier now I have a bottle tree, rather than trying to balance 30 glass bottles on there necks :thumb:

i was wondering the same, as I can drink shop bought lager all night but after a few bottles of home brew of around the same abv, I go all wonky donkey :drunk: im disabled and walk with a stick around the house, but after a few home brews i struggle to get my legs to do what i want lol :lol:
