Free to a good home.
I'll dig it out tomorrow for you.
I didn't end up fitting mine as it was so fiddly in my boiler as it's the new set up.
Mine hasn't cut out yet either.
Hi Dave,
Thanks for the offer, but ã35 per keg is the lowest I could go and that's collection only, as parcelling and posting is a bit of a faff.
Regards,
I've got a few Corny kegs for sale.
Used and in the condition you'd expect for a used keg.
Washed inside and out, and all stickers removed. Pressure tested. With relief valves.
ã35 collection only from Tottington, Bury or Greasby, Wirral
Yes, you can get them cheaper from...
I heard him talk about his book on the Beersmith podcast.
He's a really interesting chap. If I remember correctly he's something like head brewer at Stone.
So I'm bottling tomorrow and I was considering using a muslin bag over the end of my auto siphon when racking to the bottling bucket.
I haven't done this before, but on this brew I have about 80g of hop pellets in the Fv after dry hopping.
Is this a good idea, or will it filter out...
I'll let you know how it turns out.
This is what I'm bottling Friday :
4.74 kg Marris Otter
.10 Carapils
.10 Rye Malt
.15 Crystal 80

Mmmm
It will give me a 23l batch.

This will be the first time I've tried first wort hopping. Ill see if it imparts anything perceivable.
Ingredients arriving today, so I can bottle my FV contents on Friday and brew Saturday!
Just dry hopping my 2nd AG now. SG figures have worked out very close to what I was aiming for, and samples have all tasted great . . .so my confidence continues.
So much so I've just ordered all my stuff for AG no. 3 (which I'll brew Saturday).
Basically a scaled down version of Jai Alai...
