I bought various lengths of this pipe:
STAINLESS STEEL 316 SCREWED PIPE BSP 150lbs
One end screws into the pump instead of the telescopic pipe, and the spray ball goes on the other end.
I think I bought 500mm and 300mm lengths.
I brewed this with Verdant IPA yeast. For me it was better than the original.
I appreciate you haven’t got this yeast to hand but worth considering for the future.
I have one of these and it's great.
As I always like to tinker with things I have upgraded it with a clean in place spray ball, and I have 3 different lengths of stainless steel BSP pipe that allows me to clean different size vessels. It is particularly useful in cleaning my Keg King Snub nose...
As reported by ITV news:
‘For almost 50 years pregnant people in the US have had the legal right to an abortion, which was laid out in the 1973 Roe v Wade court case.’
Pregnant people? I thought only women can get pregnant……
You were just round the corner from me in leafy Finchampstead. Did you have a beer?
Enjoying all your vlogs. Looking forward to seeing the fermenter in action.
I bought and drank a box of Stella unfiltered a couple of weeks ago, and I don’t remember it being bottle conditioned so I can’t imagine it would be bottling yeast. It is also disappointingly brewed in the UK. That being said I did enjoy them, and would buy it again.
I brew double batch sizes, and aim for 42L in the FV. I use a Fermenter King Snub 60L but I think you will find this too tall for your fridge.
The Home Brew Shop do these which might fit?
60 ltr Plastic Fermenter with Lid and Tap
I pump the wort into the FV in place in the fridge. I wouldn't...
Brewed 42L today, 80 min boil. Having just bought a new 13kg propane bottle I thought I would calculate the cost of the gas used on today’s brew.
Refill cost £45.
Gas used 1.6kg
Cost of gas £5.54
Gas cost per pint, roughly 8p
shame I can’t capture the gas I generate per pint consumed….
