I've had a few of the Chardonnay ones when they were really cheap. I'm not overly keen on Chardonnay so did a little experiment with the last lot and only added half of the flavour sachet that you add at the end. I preferred it to the others to be honest. Maybe worth a try for others.

Thanks guys, I guess it's just for the OCD side of me that would like to know that I had made 'proper' wine that I could put a percentage value to like when you buy a bottle. I know it's not really important as the proof of the pudding as they say........ Anyway my second lot of Chardonnay...

I've got one of these kits that I've not started yet. I'm in the process of fermenting my second lot of the winebuddy chardonnay at the moment but was going to do a sauvignon next. I'll be interested to know how you get on with it.
