    Moving to all in one

I've brewed for quite a number of years now but with work commitments etc increasing, finding time is more problematic. I usually brew using a converted and insulated Young's fermenter as an hlt, an insulated 60L HDPE bucket with two kettle elements as a boiler and a 'very' insulated Young's...

    Trub filter

In the past, whole hop cones have filtered trub from the boiler as they've settled at the bottom. Having used pellets in bags, that can't happen now. Any suggestions on how to minimise it passing into the fermenter? Cheers

    Notre Dame Pale Ale

The mash was 68', nothing interesting apart from the crystal and chocolate being rather old... I'm using a refractometer to measure sg, could try my hydrometer just in case although it's calibrated albeit with tap water.

    Corny keg refurb

I'll get some more O rings, I agree. If I recall correctly, the end of the poppets never seemed properly aligned on some of the posts so I'll get some more of them as well. I was wondering when you would actually need to buy new posts unless you were covering from pinlock.

    Shrouds

I'm looking to make some shrouds in an attempt to make my kettle elements on my plastic boiler a little safer. I'll use either an old tube from some silicone sealant or some pvc pipe. Can anyone suggest how to attach the plastic shroud to the element and boiler? Would hot glue work?

    T90 Hop filter?

I've purchased a few nylon bags from the bay to try out as they're cheap. Cheers, both!
