    American Amber Ale

I've just started this AAA, I'm usually an AG man but just have not had the time recently. Heard good things about the AAA so thought I'd give it a go whilst I had an hour to kill. I'm using a fish tank heater to keep a constant temp. and it's already very active (after 6 hours). I got SG1052...

    Woodfordes Wherry Review

Ok, I've now had this in the bottle for about 6 weeks and it is the best brew i've ever made. Came out at around 4.7%, a lot darker but so much more body and flavour. Will deffo try this again. If you are not fussed on Wherry try this little experiment

    Toffee Apple Cider Recipe (UPDATED!)

Made a gallon of this back in June, tried it last night and its so good Im starting another batch tonight. Only problem I had was getting the honey 'burnt'. It took over an hour and when left to cool started going hard. Not sure if Im doing this wrong, but the cider is excellent anyway.

    Woodfordes Wherry Review

I've brewed Wherry a few times with great success, but now I feel I need to try a few changes. So I'm planning to add a little honey to the hot mix, then make it up to 20 litres. When bottling I will add a little demerara and see what happens. Any thoughts? Brewed 2014 approx 170 pints

St Peters Ruby Red Ale review

Ok, this was my first attempt at homebrew and I have to say i was pleased with the results. I left it in first ferm for nearly two weeks as it kept going, then bottled and started drinking after a couple of weeks. It was a damn fine brew, as was proved by the number of friends suddenly visiting...
