    Im less than 20 miles from them which is why im annoyed that maltmiller and hbc for example can deliver b4 geterbrewed can dispatch.

    Im all for giving people a chance...but to put things in context...my first attempt at an order from geterbrewed.....a maltmiller order ordered a full 24 hrs after geterbrewed...arrived befere getterbrewed had realised they wanted to screw me on postage.. But stilll i gave em a chnce or 2

    i have used this company a grand total of 3 times or attempted to and its pretty much been a bad experience. order one was for a couple of hundred quid which included a few sacks of grain , glass carboys yada yada ..so in theory qualified for free postage.......but it didnt got a demanding...

    fwiw ive used it a few times i tend to brew 45-50 ltr batches and split in to 2 fermenters (though not always).....last batch was a brown porter..wlp04 and s04 (i think) both ok but different........personally i prefer the so4.. and that goes against the whole "liquid is better" thang...

    much as i like my kegs....ive no temp control....and hate suds so i will keep bottling (much as i hate it) last batch was 112 of the wee feckers and that hurt......labled last night .....so alls good

    from experience i would have to add most bottles have a "limited" shelf life my rolling stock is prob in the region of 5-6 hundred bottles a mixture of oxbars and glass....glass tends to fair well..up to a point i have had necks chip. im assuming from repeated capping...

    FWIW with the price of grain compared to "our time" good question i used to to the whole fly sparging thing...which was boring and time consuming..and had done so from the start of my AG brewing....I then bought an ag kit and it suggested batch sparging....realised for my set up it was quicker...

    meh near a month on and still not bottled.....clean 100 odd bottles yesterday so getting there tonight i re stocked supplies 25 kg minch pale 4 so4 (no 05 in stock) 2 diff liquid yeasts another 60ltr fermenter (great for storing grain) gotta get busy
