Flat beer after conditioning in bottle

Thanks guys. To the points about temp it has always been room temperature. The sanitiser was from my local home brew shop. The caps also appeared to fit on fine. I think I may have put too little sugar in the bottles. I the teaspoon was never heaped and I may have been too cautious to not put...

Flat beer after conditioning in bottle

I keep it under my stairs. So no warmer than room temperature. Then I put in fridge a few days before drinking. Using old brewdog bottles. Could I be using to little sugar?

Flat beer after conditioning in bottle

Hi I finished my second AG batch a few months ago and on both occasions the beer is flat. After fermentation I put a small tea spoon of brewing sugar in each of the bottles before siphoning the beer in. After capping gave the bottle a shake. I can't see what I have done wrong. Surely after 3...

Looking for advice on building a cheap cool box mash tun.

I have made this mash tun and every time I use it the efficiency is better than predicted. The temp loses around 2 degrees in an hour. SG is always higher than predicted

    Dublin Porter

West indies porter is the better of the two. But my favourite has got to be Guinness foreign extra. Fullers London porter is much better than anything Guinness produce. Would have that all day long. Unless Anchor Porter is available of course

    1984 bottle of Samichlaus

You certainly have the enviable tipples. I would age it further but I think 30 years is quite enough. Yeah some old school brews, the ones with the high OGs I am hopeful. But a few pale Ales will be no good

    Westvleteren 12!!!

I'm down south. In Kent. What would you want in return. I can sort you out a 1970s bottle of Adnams Tally Ho. Not sure how good it will be and it may not have been stored very well. But definitely an interesting bottle to have. Obviously I would send it to you all packaged safely

    1984 bottle of Samichlaus

Looky here what gem I picked up at a boot fair for 50p. Super rare and a beer which is meant to be aged... And it's 30 years old! Not sure how it's been stored and i would aver that it hasn't been stored with care. Looks like it will be the flip of a coin. Christmas day this year will be...

Infusing extra coffee into Stout Kit

Hi guys. Before I start all grain I will be doing one final kit. I love my stouts with a rich coffee flavour. Not sure how coffee-like the Coopers stout kit is, but if it's not that rich how best is it to infuse coffee? Thanks in advance
