    does this look right?

    After just over 2 weeks fermenting my Canadian Blonde (which had a kg of strawberries dumped in it for 10 days) is looking like this - I don't think the others looked like this is it normal? Or have i got a dreaded infection - this is my 4th brew and the others didnt look like this one.

    left over larger in the coopers kit?

    Hi guys - quick question to you all, after brewing up any coopers in their kits and then bottling I notice there is a good 2 or 3 liters left in the fermenter below the tap... Is this for any reason? Could I tilt the fermentor or maybe use a siphon to get it out or is there a reason why it...

    First time bottling - do I need to sterilize new bottles?

    Hi guys, So after 2 weeks fermentation in my coopers kit, its time to bottle. I did not sterilize the coopers container initially as the instruction said you did not need to first time. But I dont know what to do with the bottles - they have never been used - do I need to sterilize them...

    Back to home brew - after 20 some years!

    Hi All, Have learnt a lot from the forum so thought I shoudl join and say hello :-) Last time I did home brew was in my teens - it didnt end well. Imagine your friends bedroom walls and ceiling being covered in an exploded mess :-) then the mothers view! This time around it should be better...
