    No.... same kits, but different batches one batch keeps a head, then the next doesnt but same procedure on each brew

    I brew from kits, and sometimes when i pour from a bottle, i get a good head that stops on the top, but some time it just fizzes away and is gone within minutes, why is this? i know detergents effect the head, but my glasses are always well rinsed out,

    opaque beer, anyone made it?

    Talking to my partner who is from Zimbabwe, says that people used to make their own opaque beer, it was made from millet malt http://www.brewsession.com/the-opaque-beers-of-zimbabwe/ anyone made it? she says it used to taste quite nice :thumb:

    cheers hoppyland, a lot of stuff there i didnt know... I could then get a second 25ltr plastic container as you say, and leave it to clear in that? how long could i leave it for? i thought once all the sugar was fermented, then it was in danger of going off. or am i wrong.?
