Ok I will do this. Any suggestions on the kit? What I might do is buy two of the same kit and add different hops to each. Which kit would be best for doing something like this? Thanks guys, loving my new hobby.

Just put this in the FV, I was planning on experimenting a bit with adding extra hops. Having read this thread I'm in two minds- but I do love big hops and I do want to brew something a bit "different".

Thanks Joe, Terry and Kman. It's been in the bottle for a month now and it is very good. I've got another couple of kits on the go now, got the bug but looking to move forward with making more unique beers. Guess the question will be BIAB or straight to AG..!?

Any update? My box came with 2 bags of malt extract... I thought this must have been a mistake so only used one (the American IPA I did previously only had one). It's been in the FV for 4 days now and is quite active but I'm wondering if I have made a mistake. Anyone else done this kit and...

I have the same kit and have a (very newbie) question: What sort of bottling bucket should I get? Just a plastic thing like my FV? A link would be good if that is allowed. Also, should I leave it in the secondary bottling bucket for any length of time?

Ok cool, thanks! Yeah I was just wondering as some stuff I was reading said to use a syphon and "bottle filler" (to avoid splashing). Was thinking if I fill bottles from the tap there will be lots of splashing.

I have the same question as this chap about the bucket. This is my first kit so very unsure. The kit doesn't really mention the bottling process. Also should I put hops in muslin bag?
