    Beer line length questions

Cheers for this, that is some maths to get right, I think I will pour a beer later and ponder that for a while :thumb:

    Beer line length questions

Hoping someone can help, I have just attached flow control tap to a 2m line and I am still getting nothing but froth, even with the PSI almost at zero, what in the hell am I doing wrong? :(

    Decorating

5 years ago I knocked the whole back of the house down, dug the footings and increased the kitchen size from a small galley kitchen, luckily I was running my own business at the time and I had the time to do it. Because of where the house is I had to carry every single item (including the...

    Keezer Build

I have a really dumb question, If you stick 3 Corny's in a freezer won't they freeze? I've been wanting to ask that for ages but I guess you must be bypassing the temp control or something? That is a good price for a base Keezer build, it may end up on my Christmas list - has the added bonus...

    Beer line length questions

I am waiting for a delivery of a flow control tap today and took the liberty to order 2M of beer line, this was primarily because I was getting pure froth from the tap I got with my corny's (no beer line, attached straight to the Keg). I seem to remember reading that beer line length was...

    I prefer homebrew!

Because I am carbing up my IPA and Lager I was forced to go and buy some commercial beer and I am sitting here drinking it now, my usual "go to" beer was Kronenbourg but is tastes so flavourless now since I have been making my own, it's just like I am drinking it because it has alcohol in it...

    Coopers European Lager Review

I have one in a Corny now, been 4 weeks and I did throw in some extra fancy sugar when I was making it (brought OG up a bit for a stronger taste), pulled a frothy glass tonight and it is really quite nice. Note that I used Saflager 23 (2 of) and fermented at 13 degs, I wasn't happy with the...

    Kegs ARE the way forward

Thanks for this, I have just placed an order for a flow control tap and now have some beer line and will work out placement of the new tap when it arrives. I have left it longer and it is starting to carb up but it is still very frothy.....

    Kegs ARE the way forward

Ah, I did just stick the below on the keg an pour, thinking about it I have seen quite a few people talking about beer line length and mine is zero: How do I convert that into something with beerline and what equipment do I need to do it?

    Kegs ARE the way forward

Ok, so they have been in the fridge under 30 psi for 2 days and I thought I would stick a tap on the Corny, all I'm getting is a large head and the beer underneath is flat. Reduced PSI to almost nothing to serve and it is still flat, what the hell am I doing wrong? All I do know is that: a)...

    Kegs ARE the way forward

So after having bottled 3 lots of brew so far and it becoming tedious I invested in 2 Corny's and last night (after a duff regulator was replaced) I got to Keg up 2 batches, one Lager and one heavily hopped IPA. It is soooooo much easier, the only thing I am struggling with it PSI so some help...

    Beer / milk crates

I bought some of these from Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B014KX44O0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Still pricey but look good so SWMBO doesn't moan to much about them in the house

    CO2 Regulator question (help) (again)

It is almost as if the knob is not closing the valve when turned anti-clockwise so there is zero way to stop Co2 from flowing straight from bottle to Corny. Nothing even registers on the right hand dial to say what's in the bottle so it must be kaput.

    CO2 Regulator question (help) (again)

A large thanks to www.kegkindom.co.uk who I emailed 20 minutes ago to say there is an issue and the proprietor emailed me immediately and said a new one will be delivered ASAP. You don't get service like that at this time of night from many independents, well done KegKingdom!!!
