First attempt at cider from an apple tree

Hey there, I'm planning on using a friend's apple tree to try a cider. For sanitization reasons, I'd naturally be inclined to boil (or perhaps pasteurize) the liquid before fermentation, to ensure everything is clean in my food grade tub. It also allows my to do some hop experiments alongside...

    Galaxy pellets 2018

Seem to be in stock from BrewUK and GerErBrewed. Not sure what the hype is about as they've always been out of stock when I wanted to try them... So bought a few 100g packs to try. Fill yer boots!

    Small gas cylinder for keggerator

Hi, I was looking for a small co2 cylinder for a fridge conversion. The best size looks like a 7Lb cylinder (3.15kg in new money). Does anyone know of either a place in Scotland that does it, or a nationwide supplier? Cheers, Brian.

    Conditioning and temp control

I've recently upgraded my set up to include an old fridge and and Inkbird 308 to control my fermentation in a utility room.. as the room can be anywhere from 19 to 25degrees. Seems to be working fine and doing my first brew with it just now. Should I use this for conditioning, once fermentation...
