    Force carb back sweetened TC

So, I've been bottling my TC for some time, but thought about chucking some in a keg and force carb it. I'd like to back sweeten it too, probably with Monin green apple syrup, but don't want it fermenting that sugar out in the keg. What's best way to kill of any yeasties? Boil it? Or some wine...

    Mini Corny Kegs.

Just a quickie, thinking of getting a 9L corny keg as space is limited, once there is beer in it and force carbed, is there any real issue with storing it in a fridge on its side? Obviously will stir up any sediment, but aside from that?

    Flaked oats?

Just took delivery of some flaked oats for a NEIPA, not used them before, and kinda wasn't expecting them to look like this. Do they look right? Who am I to argue with brupaks? Lol. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

    The REAL Bible?

So, the bible, which is it? I always though when people referred to "The Bible" they meant "How to brew" by John Palmer, but I now see some referring to "Home Brew Beer" by Greg hughes. So which is your bible? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

    Yeast harvesting from commercial beers

Anyone had much joy with this? I tried a while ago to harvest yeast from Cloudwater DIPA (V9 I think) I know they have been using some JW Lee's Vermont yeast or something that makes some cracking beer, and always been interested in trying to brew a beer for myself. When I did it before, I made...

    N.W.S. Kit water tweaking?

Ok, so picked up a Young's New World Saison kit to try my hand at a easy first Saison. Now I'm wondering, should i tweak my water to suit a Saison? Or shouldn't that be a problem with a kit? Should at least throw in a campden? Thinking about it, should kits really use distilled water as the...

    Freezing hops?

OK so I've been brewing a while, and never (somehow) come across freezing hops until now. Does everyone freeze their hops? I have shed loads and no way it's all fitting in the freezer [emoji58] I figured if they were unopened vac sealed bags they were fine. Dunno what to do with them all now...

    Bridger's BrewDays

Thought I'd chuck a short post up for the brew i did yesterday and subsequent brews will go here too. 🤓 So yesterday i used my new Buffalo 40L boiler (had to move the thermostat in the end as it wouldn't maintain a rolling boil, but it's all good now) and boy, it's so much easier than...

    Citra Saison - BBNo 01|01 - ideas?

Really fancy brewing a Citra Saison like BBNo 01| 01 for the summer, but I've never done a Saison before. Any thoughts / recipe / pitfalls ? Not really sure where to start. It says there is malted rye in it, but past that I'm heading into uncharted territory 😃 Also says 'light spicing'...

    Me. :)

Hi all, I'm Ross from Coventry (i was born here, not sent here 😂) Been brewing for a year or two, fair amount of beer (progressed from extract to AG) and loads of TC. Just bought a 40L Buffalo after reading a few posts on here, so thought I'd join up and say hi, and help others if...
