    Mead recipe

    Alcotec 21% vodka kit

    I have followed the instructions on this kit and after 3 weeks at the correct temp my hydrometer read 1030 where instructions say it should be at 978, I'm guessing the fermentation failed, the mix still looks like a water & sugar mix, would I be ok adding wine yeast or is it possible to get...

    Corny question

    I now have 4 corny kegs and find them fantastic but need a little help Do I store the beer in the cornies and connect the gas when the beer has matured or is it best to connect the gas as soon as the beer is in it? if it helps I prefer bitter/real ales type of brews Cheers Steve

    6kg Co2 bottle life expectancy with cornies?

    Hi, i'm very happy with my corny keg and i'm thinking of getting a few more, if I get 3 more and connect all 4 to a 6kg Co2 bottle at 10 psi how long would you expect the gas to last? only asking as i'm thinking I might need 2 bottles??

    Corny kegs.....if I buy?

    Is there a user guide for cornies? Would I want John guest or barbed disconnects? Which taps go with these connects? So many decisions... Or should I persevere with King kegs

    Fridge on the way....

    Got a tall larder fridge on the way, what do I need to make a brew fridge? heater of some sort and a way to control temp? Would I be better with an under the counter size fridge and keep the tall one for cooling the king kegs?

    Bottling wine

    My wife wants my next brew to be rhubarb wine, we have 10 plants in the garden so will be looking to make quite a lot. No doubt she'll want raspberry wine, plum wine and pear wine soon lol My question is... can I reuse screw top bottles or should I use corks?
