Brewed 5L using 1kg of sugar, 300g of ginger and some wine yeast. ive just put the bottle out to crash but noticed a strange sulfur like smell coming from the airlock. has anybody else experienced this? its my first non-beer brew

set this off with 1.3kg of brew enhancer and 150g of unrefined sugar. brewed short to 21L OG 1.052 Dont trust the yeast.. the starter didnt seem to really kick off. could i chuck in a pack of wilco ale yeast?

im looking for tips to give my brews that orange juice look. currently using kits. tend to stick to IPA's. im thinking high levels of dry hop? are there any other ways to get that thicker juice like look?

Having bottled a pilsner kit using the batch priming method i then put them in the garage to carb up. it has been roughly two weeks but little carbonation and i can taste the priming sugar. (very little yeast on the bottom of the 2L PET bottle also. i ran out of glass) would it be okay...

cant seem to find anything on here about this.. will be brewing it tomorrow. its a cheap-ish 1 tin kit from Bulldog. includes 12g hop pellets in a teabag. I'll be using 1kg of brewing sugar as per instructions. Will keep you updated. if anybody has any experiences please chime in
