Hi, I should expect so. It's a Coleman 'X-Treme' - inside dimensions MUCH smaller than outside; sides about about 3 inches thick! One of them kept ice for 4 days in the summer. Hopefully it will manage a degree over 90 mins.
The lid is about the same thickness too.

Just been reading an old thread about isolating the thermal cut-out on a Buffalo boiler. The author doesn't accept PMs but there was talk of unscrewing the pink sensor attached to the underside of the element. Any idea whether this worked?

I drilled a small hole in the top for the STC probe and used the drain hole for the 60W tube heater cable.
I'm suspicious of making the probe location such an exact science (bubble wrapping to side of FV etc). I just dangle the probe...
