    It's frothy man... Which tap do you use?

    Clear tube from 80pint barrel shows crystal clear Woodfords Wherry... but comes out of expensive tap really frothy. Tried the simple adjustment but still frothy. Only get 1" beer in a pint glass which takes about 10 minutes to settle. Beautiful beer, proper tasty.... Any ideas before I look for...

    oops! put 4oz more sugar at ferment stage

    Will it have much/any effect on the finished brew? 12 days ferment from Burton Bridge Beer... SG 1.010 today..... if same tomorrow... it's going in bottles :cheers:

    What method do you use for SG samples?

    How does everyone take their SG readings.... My 1st batch English Bitter... 10th day fermenting... 16/17 deg constant

    Been away for a while.....

    Used to make wine from kits years ago.... decided to try beer kit.... save some coppers? Started off last week with 40pints of Burton Bridge English Bitter... (anyone tried this?)... still fermenting after 8 days :shock: Got all my start up gear from Morley near Leeds... very nice man.
