    That is strange, many moons ago I ran a pub and restaurant. We were paid for recycling the glass bottles we had. Most companies pay you to recycle it makes them feel like they are doing there bit.

    As I am racking it into another bucket, I have a fermentation barrel from wilko's that has a hole in the lid for a bung. I give it a good 15 minutes blast them remove the paddle and reattach the lid and add a bung. Hasn't effected it yet

    How to remove bottle labels the easy way.

    Best way to remove label, (btw I am a chef) is fill the bottle with red hot water. Heating the glass will cause the glue to turn liquid again then remove and wipe. I can do 40 bottles before the water turns to cold to work properly.

    So I was looking for beer bottles, so I decided to buy some bottle beer from lidl, ( please don't flay me) but the small bottles cost me like 23p per bottle with beer. I will take that instead of the stupid prices out there.
