Equipment For Sale Under counter fridge with heater for free. North West collection.

Hi, Does anyone want this fridge with a tube heater in it? I used to use it as a fermentation fridge but have a chiller unit now. You would need to add an inkbird or something similar to get the temperature control. The door has had some of the moulding cut away to fit a fermenter on the...

    Brewly ACS-1 Automatic Can Sealer

Yeah not had an issue since I first set it up. The Duofiller is more about getting carbonation right and getting your kegs cold then there’s no problems there either.

Commercial vs Home brew fermentation times

Did they mention if they ferment under pressure at all? Can increase temperature and it also ferments faster in a pressurised fermenter. And as others have said the yeast will be already going wild before it even touches the wort!

The next Malt buy by the South Cheshire Co-operative

Ive already done this for a few up here so I don't mind collecting again as I have to go up that way again anyway!

The next Malt buy by the South Cheshire Co-operative

I used to and now live in Rivacre so round the corner. If you ever need anything at short notice it’s worth letting me know as I’ve got loads of ingredients.

    Reverse Osmosis

I know someone who collects the "waste water" in a large tank then uses that to flush through his counterflow chiller. He then collects that in another vessel and uses that for cleaning. That way there is actually no waste water.

Who will be the next PM? [Poll]

That poll feels like you have posted one saying "who would I want my wife to have an affair with". Either way I'm not going to be left feeling happy...

    Kegerator woes

I took the plastic top piece off and used a sharp knife to cut away the foam on the top. You can then see where the refrigeration lines are in the foam and avoid drilling into them.

    Brewly ACS-1 Automatic Can Sealer

Are you force carbing or can conditioning?

    Brewly ACS-1 Automatic Can Sealer

If you’re spending the money look at the pro version. It lifts the can up and drops it automatically which is well worth it if you’re doing more than 100 cans haha. I’ve got a Duofiller too to fill them and that’s really good too!

    Brewly ACS-1 Automatic Can Sealer

Yes I did get one and it’s been flawless so far. I fill 330 and 440ml cans on it that are force carbonated in a corny and then chilled. I’m based just past Chester from your way if you wanted to try it out or when I make a collection on the group buy I could try to bring it with me and pop by...

Malt Group Buy in London/Berkshire Area

I find with the malt buy up north, as soon as the bags arrive I try to get down asap (or even on the day) to collect. That way you reduce that risk. If you organise it in that way then anyone delaying collection does so at they own risk. I’m not sure how quickly the rest of the bags shift but it...

    Blue storage barrel for grain

If you haven’t ordered yet I use these in the link below and if you’re ordering more than one then it’s cheaper than Amazon with the delivery. It’s a 2 day delivery for me so it’s fast enough...

TCP on one of two identical batches

It was the second one. I’m using the grainfather glycol chiller and grainfather fermenters so each one is assigned to a brew on the app to keep track of them. I can only think it was the water being left in the hose out in the heat for a day must have done something.

TCP on one of two identical batches

I’ve got a glycol chiller and the fermentation temperatures where identical between brews.
