It's been a long time since I've brewed and looking for a straight forward recipe to use. I like pale, citrus, fruity beers heavily hopped flavours.
Any help appreciated. Thanks
Ive got 100g each of mosaic and cascade.
I was going to do
4kg MO
300g Crystal
100g terrified wheat
Then bitter with 25g challenger
I was considering then just using the Mosaic at 15 and 5 min
Anyone used Mosaic and Cascade as a combo before?
Cheers
I am doing a citra brew
4kg MO
300g Crystal
I was going to do 25g Challenger 60 mins @ 6.5aa
10g Citra 15 mins @ 12.2
5g Citra 5 mins @12.2
I really like quite hoppy beers though, would i be right in then...
So i know there is loads and loads of ideas about the best way of cleaning/sterilising a barrel, but can someone give me a fool proof way? My brews have been good and some a little chemically tasting (only slightly) I've used a warm water solution to clean the barrel straight after use, then...
Has anyone tried a fuggles, challenger and EKG IPA before, got some hops i need to use up
Was thinking
5kg MO
250g Crystal
50g Fuggles 4.5aa @60mins leaf
25g Challenger 8.6aa @5 mins pellet
30g EKG 5.5aa @0 mins
Which commercial beers use fuggles for the brews? Ive got loads to use up but every time I've done a brew it hasn't never tasted as good as id like?? Maybe its the hop itself i don't like but without trying some beers that i know its in i won't know. Cheers
So ideally I've been fermenting about 21 degrees, with this warmer weather we are having my brew space seems to have gone up to 23/24 deg C.
Any advice

0.1 Choc Malt
16g Admiral @ 60 mins 14.5 aa
16g Cascade @ 0 mins 9.7aa
