    OK - so far so good. Got it all started up on Saturday, as per instructions, and it seems to be bubbling away quite happily to itself! It's quite mesmerizing watching the little air build up and bubble round in the airlock! Who needs telly?!

    OK - all my stuff has been delivered (Wherry starter kit with all the bits). I'll be starting it up on the weekend. Any last minute advice for a complete novice? Anything important the instructions are likely to not tell me?!!

    Well I haven't actually started the brewing yet, so I can't really call it a hobby, but other than that my hobbies/interests are: Music - big heavy metal fan, play a bit of guitar (badly!), going to gigs/festivals, etc. Amateur Operatics - mainly Gilbert and Sullivan stuff Politics History...
