Cheap Pale Ale Malt in Manchester

I have a few extra sacks of pale ale malt here in Rusholme, Manchester that I want to sell if anyone wants some. I paid carriage only as it was 9 months out of date hence the price. (The date on the sacks says July 2015.) Tenner a sack seems a fair price. Pick up only though! :thumb:

WANTED - Offcut Of Sight Gauge Tubing (15x400mm)

I went to the trouble of marking out my sight glass with a dremel a while back and after being really pleased with how it turned out left it on the side for a while and came back only to knock it to the floor smashing it into pieces. I've been struggling to find a replacement so thought...

    Ageing temperature and kegerator query

You could get a small chest top freezer, you should be able to fit 4 kegs in it if they're the usual kind. Otherwise I'd just butcher the fridge if I was you. Not much point having one keg sitting outside if it's not even in conditioning temps all the time. I got my freezer for £30 and a mate...

Galaxy hop 2 - the sequel

If you want maximum flavour try adding half at about 5 minutes and the other half at 0 and let the hops sit after the boil for about half an hour. If you're not after the aroma from the hops then don't dry hop in the fermenter or secondary at all. Personally I love dry hopping and love the...

    Marble Ginger clone

I've wanted for a while now to brew something like Marble Ginger that Manchester's Marble Beers do but I've never been able to find a proper beer recipe with ginger in that isn't "ginger ale". Marble Ginger doen't seem to have any citrusy or new world type hops in it so it's probably English...

How to put a head on a flat beer

I find if you just pour the first bit from a bit of a height flat onto the bottom of the glass so it hits the bottom hard you'll get a head from that, then pour normally down the side of the glass at an angle till the glass is full and you should get a nice pint every time.
