    Kegmenter

These seem to be making their way to europe finally, although a bit pricey from the below Scandanavian based seller as they're looking £169 for the kegmenter plus £59 for the pressure kit. https://www.thehomebrewery.co.uk/kegmenter-unitank-29l-fermenter-keg Anyone got wind of any UK sellers...

    Little Bottler dip tube

I have a Little Bottler attached to my FV but the last 5 or 6 bottles are a pain in the backside with all sorts of tilting, lifting and messing about. I've looked in B&Q at various PVC waste pipe fittings and none of the right angle pieces are the right size to do the job of attaching onto the...

FV still smells of previous brew??

Just bottled my first brew on friday, been out to the shed this evening and noticed the empty FV still smells of the previous brew despite a 24 hour soak in OxiClean to get rid of the Krausen residue and a scrub out & rinse. Is this normal? What can I do about this?

    FV Tap question

Bottled my first brew on Saturday after having fitted a Little Bottler myself onto a FV to use as a bottling bucket. The tap leaked, but I had the rubber seal on the inside - is this wrong or do I need to buy myself a new bucket with tap fitted?

Admiral Reserve - should I bottle?

I've had an Admiral Reserve (my first kit) in the FV for exactly 13 days (to the hour). OG was 1.048 and gravity is now 1.014 - kit quotes its ABV as 5.5% and, adding 0.2% for secondary fermentation, this is now going to stand at 4.7% although I did accidentally make it up long (I think around...

    Maxi-BIAB Stockpot

My first kit brew has been in the FV for just over a week but I've decided to take the plunage and go AG with my next so I'm looking into an approx. 19L stockpot for Maxi BIAB. I've checked out the Buckingham 19L pots on Amazon/eBay and the 21L German Schengler ones from the catering-portal...

    Secondary Fermentation question

Hi all, my first brew (Woodforde's Admiral Reserve) has been in the FV since Friday evening. Just wondering as this is my first attempt is it worthwhile putting this into a secondary FV and if so when and for how long? Regardless of whether it goes into a secondary I am intending to batch...

    First brew - sanitation question

Having dispensed with the idea of a Brewbuddy I have acquired two of the Chapelwood containers from Amazon to use as a FV and bottling bucket, acquired hydrometer, thermomoeter, bottler etc. and am planning to brew a Woodforde's Admiral Reserve this Saturday. I'll be sanitising using a Campden...
