I used a ton (not literally) of Coors Light and Budwiser bottles at the turn of the year. They were all fine, pain in the bum filling them all though so chucked them after the first use. No issues with them though, like I say.

Bottled this today and got the expected 4.5% so happy with that Almost made a real schoolboy error and forgot to add the priming sugar! Close ca!! Even managed to get the missies involved in capping - says she doesn't mind! Happy days.

Running low on my pre-xmas brews now, so decided to get a few more kits to try (along with my Wherry kit which is fermenting away nicely) beer by liamtmt7, on Flickr Should give me a decent pre-summer stock. Brews so far have been average ABV so looking forward to the Double IPA. Cant go...

Nothing, just brewed it short - instructions say to brew to 23 liters for a gravity of 4.5% I think. (FG if 1.014) Am I mistaken?

This has been a problem for me as well, with all of my beers. I have done 2 kits (+ a stout) and neither of them have cleared. Watching this one closely!

It's very frustrating. I live in a new build in a small village, the rest of he village can get fire bob and I'm stuck with sky on a p1ss poor <4mb connection. Still, almost better than the old dial up 56k days
