    Kit + Grain Brewing

Had a wee look on the coopers website for some inspiration for my next two brews. Having done 3 kits now from a basic coopers lager, bulldogs four finger jack and coopers IPA with 2 hops additions for bitterness/aroma purposes and us-05 yeast... i'm keen to branch out a bit more and seen this...

    Finings & Clearing beers

Hey guys, I've got a Bulldog kit on just now and its been 8 days in the FV and still has a large foamy krausen on top... looks like the yeast may take the two weeks plus on this one to work through. US-05 Rehydration & Reclaimation

For my next and 3rd brew I will be using this for a coopers IPA kit and liquid malt extract with most likely Chinook & Nelson Sauvin hops. secondary fv + carbonation temps

Hey all, I'm due to bottle my first ever home brew this weekend, hoping it turns out well! I've read a lot about moving from the primary FV to a secondary... What are the main pros and cons for this and is it worth the investment for a newb like me? I will be using 500ml pet bottles with 1.5...

    Electrim 75 immersion heater

Has anyone got any experience/views on using this with the Coopers Starter Kit FV? I would obviously need to drill a hole in the lid to plug the bung, being careful not to split the lid itself... If anyone has a better recommendation for achieving a steady 18-21*C then let me know! Where is...

    Professional Drinker, Novice Brewer

Hello one and all from the central belt of Scotland! Thanks to the joys of the festive period I was gifted a coopers starter kit and have been reading up on some useful tips on this forum to guide me through the processes and motions of 'not making a tub of pi$$water' for my first home brew...
