Not sure why you would pay for bottles especially used ones when you can get them from your local for free. I use pop up crates. Think they were about £3 in Aldi or Lidl. Seen then posted on here from Amazon, they hold 25 bottles.

We also stock quality used beer bottles (all clean and de-labelled) in sets of 40 at £11.00 per 40.

Hope that helps

Just had a quote of £12.00 for shipping 80 bottles. That certainly makes a purchase unviable for me. For those able to collect locally I can understand the attraction.

Thanks for sharing the links.
Both great prices. With the £1 off offer at Wilco they are £2 a crate. That's a great price. Any idea how many bottles will fit into a crate?

Just looked at the reviews for both. Very mixed reactions. Clearly you get what you pay for.

We use the Wilko crates for a variety of things. They are OK provided you don't overload them and don't continually collapse and reassemble them. But for £2 you shouldn't complain, so have just ordered some more. wfr42 thanks for the heads up :thumb:

Anyone who's got coopers bottles - you can fit exactly 14 in a 5 ream photocopy paper box, the things are bulletproof and easy to get for free. I've been reusing the same ones for donkeys.

Don't like beer out of plastic.
Get your head in your supermarket glass recycling bin and scrounge some out. ( but don't say I've said to do that)
Most of my 200+ bottles have come from there.

The Wilkos crates that collapse/reassemble, are they tall enough to stack ontop of each other when they have bottles in, or do the bottles protrude over the top?
