These bins are being installed at service stations to stop lazy gits from littering, the mind boggles.

I agree to a certain extent but are we to see these popping up all over the place just because people are so lazy they cannot get out of their vehicles to put litter in a normal litter bin?

Alas people are THAT lazy:twisted:
It's a pet hate of mine,litter or dumping ****.
A year ago we were on our fishing holiday in the west midlands.Someone had dumped a stack of wood, contiboard etc into the margins of the river:twisted:. To get there they would have needed to hump it over a padlocked gate to the field, then a good 8/10 minute walk through the field to reach the river, they then must have walked another few minutes along the bank to dump it all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,where the f### is the logic in it.

They don't want to get out of their vehicles to by food or coffee. Why would they get out to dispose of litter? Sadly, it's this or more carp chucked out the window or dumped in a layby.

We have a dougnut cafe close by, even that has a drive through, what the f###

Sadly the morons even come all the way out here and leave disposible bbq's and dog poo bags on the beaches. These people are an embarrasment to the human race. They just don't realise how much locals hate such actions.

Ahhhhhhhhhh poo bags:twisted:,i know of someone who fishes somewhere in the far west midlands where the woods are festooned with the b####y things!yup hung from tree branches!.
Was away in Weymouth last week. Out and about quite late for us oldies when a group of youngsters obviously having visited the local takeaway, literally stood around next to a damn great rubbish bin. One of them rather than turn his body around to use said bin decided to sling the remnants of his food along with the container on the deck!!!!!!!!!!.Felt like saying oi,but resisted for fear of a smack in the gob.

They can all now get even fatter! As for chucking carp out out the car....

Like driving while using the phone, we could end out the window littering in three months.
All it takes is £5,000 fines and/or destruction of the car and phone.

We don't have enough police to enforce it and judging from the ammount of litter we see it's not just a small percent of us doing it.

Just read on the BBC website that 3 out of the 4 bins at Lymm services have been damaged within 2 days of being installed. It appears that the islands they are on were installed too close to the road and they have been hit by wing mirrors or trailers on lorries driving through the bays!
