Good to hear. I've ordered mead and cider yeast from them, if they are good then 7.50 for ten packs is a great price for the future especially be interested in seeing how the mead yeast performs

Came across these yeasts on eBay and I'm just wondering if anyone has tried them yet?

At those prices it would be interesting to hear how the US Pale and Real Ale yeasts compare to other dried yeasts in terms of flavour and flocculation.

I've not used them myself but I understand they are repackaged from bulk packages.

The guy runs a pilot brewery that brews small batches to other bands. It sounds like they sell off the left overs through ebay.

As I understand it the yeast isn't in specialised packing so there is a small chance of contamination but the price seems good.

I'm sure others will have tried it.

I have used both yeast and hops (just clearing some mead that the yeast has done a excellent job on) and they are all in specialised packaging not has you say , also they do not sell left overs has you say , every thing is fresh and excellent quality has many on this site will testify,

Yes, they cleared this up on another forum. I think the hops are spare from their working brewery but they said the yeast comes direct from a German manufacturer.

My guess is that it is Lallemand who make Danstar yeasts. If that's the case and they are as cheap as they are then it's great.

I sent them a message about hops recently and got a very friendly and prompt reply. Will be buying some hops from them soon.

Cheers, will order a few packs of the pale ale yeast and give that a go. Ebay shop looks good, sometimes i just dont want a large order or have to drive to pick up anything.
