I think a lot of people believe they can make proper cider from the minimum of ingredients (all natural of course) and that it will be tasty and full of body. It's usually foul and/or suitable for people with a certain kind of odd taste and lead lined stomachs because that's what 'proper' cider is like.

Keep experimenting, but there is nothing in your recipe which adds body, you need:
Pineapple juice
