I see you can replace the existing Grainfather temperature controller, with an STC-1000.
I wondered if you don't re-programme it, are the only benefits more accurate control and no step mashing features?

if you want to use the stc1000 to control the pump too squeezing in the extra ssr may be just about do-able.. i didnt bother
