I have the old but working aquarium heater from our fish tank. It was replaced because at 100w, it wasn't quite "man enough" for our 80 litre tank.
I am considering dropping it (cleaned and sterile) into my FV which has the smugglers ale in. My question being, this being the seventh day of fermenting, is it a little late, I need to get the OG down a little further as it's been on 1018 for the past two days?
