Did my usual 2 boils from 1 mash today and then bottled the previous batch. K-nackered.

Aimed for a grain bill with a bit of a Belgian feel perhaps, but used English WLP002 yeast harvested from a previous brew. American style hopping in one, with Columbus and Citra, and a Euro-Styrian feel in the other, with Aurora, Bobek and a bit of Green Bullet, which apparently has a Styrian-like aroma if used late.

Total batch 23 litres
Target OG 1051
Target ABV 5.0%
SRM 7.2
Mash 75 mins @ 66C
Boil 60 mins

Grain
Maris Otter 3kg
Munich 670g
Torrified wheat 350g
Dextrose 230g
Caramunich II 170g

Yeast: WLP002

Boil 1 41 IBUs
Columbus 7g@60
Citra 10g@5
Columbus 10g@5
Citra 14g@0
Columbus 14g@0

Boil 2 41 IBUs
Aurora 14g@60
Aurora 14g@20
Bobek 14g@5
Green Bullet 14g@0
Bobek 14g@0

All went well but still trying to work out why the Bobek batch gave me 12 litres at 1055 and the Citra batch gave me 11 litres at 1045. I think it's a miracle. A pointless one, but a miracle nonetheless. Might stick 200g of DME in the Citra batch tomorrow.
