The dark ale is kind of interesting but I am concerned it might be a little too strong so will take ages to drink.

Also the Bitter is a possibility.

I've brewed a batch of the coopers dark ale with a tin of treacle added...I have to wait another week before I can drink it but I've checked the bottles a few times and it LOOKS great....I'll post you when I try it.

Soooo

What quantities of treacle and sugar did you use?

Will very much appreciate you posting once you have tasted it.

I just used the kilo of fermenting sugar and a 454g tin of treacle...you're probably supposed to substitute one for the other so I'll have to see how it turns out.

Done both of these both nectar, i always brew with Coopers brew enhancer 2 and then prime my bottles with a mix of dextrose and malt extract
