Tomorrow Im planning on playing with another Cheeky Vimto & A 3rd attempt at Ginger Beer.

Ive been useing cider yeast and getting ABVs of over 8%. :hmm:

I have now got some SAFALE SO4 yeast. As this is an Ale yeast am I correct in thinking this will ferment out at around 1.010 instead of the .990 the cider yeast has gone to.

So with an OG of say around 1.050 and an FG of around 1.010 i should expect an ABV of around 5.3%.

Or have I got this completly wrong. WILL ALL YEASTS KEEP GOING UNTILL THEY RUN OUT OF SUGARS :wha:

With Apple Juice & Vimto being high in sugar what can I use to reduce the OG is water the best thing to use :hmm:

Im also planning 3 Wurzels. Orange, Tropical & Apple. Can I expect much difference in the taste as my first Wurzel didn't realy taste of Orange.

I'm fermenting out now with S-04, I had a cheeky taste after 5 days and it's still sweetish, if it just gets a little less sweeter than it is that'll be o.k for me!
