I've been trying to figure out a way to do two brews at the same time to maximise my precious brew days. So whilst I had a 60min mash on the go I thought I'd try and brew another beer within the 60mins. I only need a weak but tasty quaffing beer for a 2 gallon pressure barrel. So this is what I did...
1kg of medium DME
Boiled for 15mins with 25g Galaxy hops
then poured into a 10l no chill cube and left overnight, pitched following morning.
This was really quick and easy to do whilst I was waiting for my mash to work its magic. It will be interesting to see how the beer turns out and how it compares to my AG beers. I've never used DME or the no chill method before.
