Hi all, can these be used as FV's, I've got 3 not doing much that I bought for aquarium water changes but havnt been used. Thank you in advance ðŸËŠðŸËÅ

Yup. I've used small 5L versions as FV's. Jusy cover the opening with (sanised) cling film or leave the lid on loose to let the C02 escape

Would it be worth modifying the screw top to accom a air lock or is it not worth it?

Depends if you really want an air lock. I've never used an air lock myself even on a regular FV

go for it, cleaning the handle area post use can be a minor pita but a warm laundry oxi solition in the bottle with the cap on tight and inverted for a 20min soak should clean the dirtiest yeast encrusted handle.
the only gotcha comes when emptying/rinsing out cleaner/sanitiser it can take multiple tips to drain em ....
